A Whole New Life

Five years from now, I was preparing myself to get into High School, enjoying my free time with friends, going to the pool, having fun. I was so busy worrying about how cool High School would be. I remember I was crazy in love with Justin Bieber back then (I still love him, though but I was actually crazy at that time); I used to write and read a lot of fanfictions, waiting for the precious moment one of those stories would come true. But it never happened, obviously. If you ask my young self what does she see for my future, she would be clueless; she wouldn’t even think about the huge changes I’ve gone through, meeting people I was fancying to. And losing those I’ve loved so much since forever. I bet this happened to all of us; if we see our Young innocent selves waiting for a lot of stuff to happen, that actually never happened, they would be disappointed, sad and also angry about it all. But I also bet, if those things that we fancied a lot never happened, was for a solid reason that the Destiny, God, the Universe, has planned. It’s obvious, we’ve gone through pain, happiness, excitement, tiredness but it made us who we are. So, do you regret it all?

A couple months ago, my best friend, Ariel, decided to go abroad for a year to France. It seemed like forever, the day never came but it did. He’s leaving next week and yesterday we spent the last day together before he leaves to achieve his dream. I’m very happy for him, he’s an absolutely lovely person. Ariel’s the kind of people you meet and know he’ll give his heart to you if you ask to. He’s been by my side, still being my friend, when my other friends left and that simple detail means a lot to me. I really love him, he’s become like a brother and I tried, I try and will try my best to help him with whatever he needs; because, that’s what siblings do! Chino (his real nickname) if you’re reading this, I’m so proud of you, you’re an amazing person I’m so happy to have met. Don’t worry about anything people say, you’re incredible, you can do whatever you want and I admire you, a lot. I hope this travel makes you stronger and I hope you gain a lot of experience; enjoy it, you deserve it! I’m going to miss you but it’s okay, life’s like this!

Five years ago, I was starting High School, fascinated by the huge change I was going through but still happy and anxious to know about everything. I felt empowered, like no one could tear me down. Now, being a graduated, I feel the same way. I’m happy and anxious about the huge change I’m going to face in a couple weeks but, at the same time, I’m scared, I’m sad, I want to stop the time for a while, take a breath and admire my High School years, cry a Little and get stronger to keep moving on. And, again, I bet almost everyone feels or felt this same way. Or maybe not. I’m being anything but dramatic, I’m not leaving to China, to have a new life, this is just College but still, I can’t believe the day has come! I’ve share five lovely years with my Friends, I’ve gained a lot of experiences, memories, lessons these years and they built me the way I’m now. And realising that I’m not going to go to the same old school I’ve always went, I’m not going to meet the same classmates I’ve always had, I’m not going to see my friends on a daily basis as I did, breaks my heart a little. And what hurts most is knowing that some of my friends, included my boyfriend, are starting College next week when I’m starting next month. We all took different paths and it’s incredible, now we can see how different we are. My group of friends’ careers vary from Architecture to Dental Hygienist to Humanity Professor to Biotechnology to English Translator, we’re not all the same as we thought at first. But that’s okay because it made us work as we did.

Being at the end of an important period and at the beginning of a new one makes me shiver but also makes me want to face it. I know life is a constant change and we have to be prepared or just get used to it. We can’t leave the challenges and run away, we can’t stop the time and repeat our favourites moments, we can’t skip stages but we can face them, we can learn from each period in our life and get new lessons; it would strengthen the person who we are, it would change and sculpt us in a new way, always for the good because we have to learn how to take the good in every stage we’re. We can do that; we can face anything we have in front of us. We’re stronger than we think and we’re smarter, we can take the good into the bad.

Tell me what was your biggest change in life, or if you’re going through one nowadays. We can exchange experiences and knowledge and get over it together!

Goodbye and see you soon!

2015 goals: Achieved or nah?

Happy 2016 everyone! It's been almost a month since the year's started and I obviously arrived late for a proper introduction post. Oops! I made it again!

Last year, on February, I wrote down a tiny list with the goals I wanted to achieve on 2015 and I thought it would be a great idea to share with you my victories and my give ups. So let's get started!

Goal number 1: Get fit, healthy and strong.

Oh God, no! I couldn't make this one! It's a terrible beginning to be honest; I tried my best to go to the gym and to become vegetarian, to eat more vegetables, fruit and less junk food. And, although I could stop eating a lot of junk food, I didn't actually become a healthy person as I wished.
However, about being a 'strong person', I think I'm one now. Last year was an amazing year, full of beautiful moments, I enjoyed to the limit, where I become confident and happy. 2014 was a good year too but I went through pretty bad situations that made me feel weak; I lost some friends, felt sad, angry, resentful. I was trying so hard to become someone strong, so everyone who dragged me down, those who hurt me, would feel less and miserable, I wanted them to regret the fact of losing me. It was terrible, that wasn't me. I was acting childish having those thoughts but I was hurt and that's all I can use as an excuse.
Anyways, on 2015 I focused on my last year of High School, my preparation for my Cambridge Exam, my boyfriend, friends and family. In addition, at the end of the year, I realised that I was the person I always wanted to be; someone who likes and accepts herself, someone who doesn't really care about other people's opinion.

Goal number 2: Get a 90% or more on my Cambridge FCE Exam.

Jesus Christ, I did it! OMG, I'm so happy to share it with you! It was an actual struggle and I thought I failed because some parts of the exam were so difficult; I discussed it with my classmates and some other pupils I met in the institute where we had the exam and they all thought the same: 'we're disapproved'. But boy, no! I received an email a few days ago and I was so nervous when I logged in my account. I passed with a B, I had 175 points of 190. If I'm not wrong, it means I got a 92%! My God, I'm so damn happy.

Goal number 3: Enjoy my last year on a 100%

As I said before, on the first goal. I enjoyed my year to the maximum and I'm so happy with it. I really want to go back to March 2015 and do all my last year again, it was fantastic but sadly, I can't and it's time to move on on this new stage.

Goal number 4: Take singing lessons.

Oh no, no way! It was one of my most appreciated goals, to be honest but I didn't care about it as I would have liked to. Also, with my stressful English lessons every Tuesday and Thursday, I was done. I didn't want to do anything else, it was too much for my patience!

Goal number 5: Write at least 10 blog posts each months.

Oops, haha. Let's move onnn...

Goal number 6: Start Youtube.

And I did it! But I rapidly desisted and I ended up deleting my channel. Reasons why? 1. I didn't have a good camera to film the videos. 2. I never found time for filming and I always used any silly excuse to not film any video. If someday I really feel like starting Youtube, I'll do my best and get started but, for now on, I'll put all my effort on my blog.

So, those were my achieved and my not achieved goals! Now I want to know about you! Have you set your own goals at the beginning of 2015? Did you achieved all of them or not? I'm super excited to know about you now, and I hope you share with me your experiences!

Goodbye and see you soon!

Turning 18 (July, 31st)

Hello everybody, this is my first post with 18 years old and it's also my first post being legal, woow! 2015 is still a year full of surprises for me, I can't get accostumed to it!
I just wanted to share with you a bit of my special day, the food we ate and the presents I received.

As my birthday was on Friday, I went to school as I normally do and then I came to my house accompined by my friends and we waited for my boyfriend to arrive.

We share lunch eating hamburgers and for dessert I prepeared a vanilla mousse with Oreos cookies which I forgot to take a picture.

We talked, laughed, played cards and had a great moment. A friend had the idea to give me a welcome to my legality and everybody started to throw me grass, dust and also water. It was fun but dirty.

My mom bought me a huge cake which was a chocolate bomb that everyone loved and also cute vanilla cupcakes.

 And finally, the presents...

My grandmother (Betty) gave me a lovely pair of slippers and my other grandmother (Mimi) a beauty sweater which I also forgot to take pics of.

My group of five friends gave me a pair of summer pyjamas and a vegetal sponge for body and face hygene. I loved it.

My mom's friend gave me a super cute and lovely bracelet with a tiny bell which I find super super cute.

One of my closest friends gave me six bars of chocolate and a bag of sweets. I can barely think of a better gift! I was fascinated when I found out what I was given.

And finally, my lovely boyfriend showed up with a perfumery bag. I first thought it was a perfume but it was nothing else than a makeup palette of a Spain makeup brand, Mirlans. I never heard from this brand before but when I tried the makeup on Saturday night I was in love with the colours. Here I'll leave you a picture...

And that's all for my 18th birthday. I hope you enjoyed the post and I'll be posting some cool stuff soon this week!

Good bye and see you soon!

2015: Beginning and Goals

Happy 2015! I hope all of you had a lovely beginning and got your energy recharged positively.
It's february actually but I haven't given a worthy welcome to 2015. So here it is, WELCOME 2015! This years seems to be a very very good one on my point of view, what do you think about?

I moved house on December 25th (yes, on Christmas) I swear it wasn't easy to get accustomed to it but with struggle I did it. I used to live with my parents at my granny's house but it was time for the bird (daddy) to abandon the nest and take away his bird-wife and little pigeon (me!). Almost a month later, we adopted a cat who's called Regina and yes, I keep my dog Larry (I'm not Larry Shipper guys, it was because the bromance)

This year is absolutely exciting for me. It's my last year at High School and you know what it means... I got my lovely prom! I don't know if in USA or the UK proms are every year for every grade/year but here you have your prom when your school cycle is done. I have mine on November!!

I started going to the gym last week and I'm trying to eat healthier than ever, this is my most precious goal for 2015. I need to look fabulous in my prom dress buuuuuuut I also need to be healthy and strong ;)

  My goals for 2015 are:

-Get fit , healthy and strong.
-Get a 90% or more on my Cambridge FCE exam.
-Enjoy my last year on a 100%
-Take singing classes!
-Write at least 10 blog post each month.
-Start Youtube!

What are your 2015 goals? How was your beginning?

Goodbye and see you soon!

The Start of Something New: Be Welcomed to MILA SO WHAT

PH credits: my mom <3 thank you so much for supporting me in every decision I choose!

I know I should stop changing my theme (let's say) but I found the one I like and I changed almost everything, I feel more comfortable with my blog now!

Why MILA SO WHAT?
If you're following my Instagram account you may notice that the username is @milasowhat, well that's because one of my friends decided to call me Mila as the last four letters of my name (Camila) matched as a name; she also did the same with her name (Luisina) and that's why I like to call her Sina sometimes. Anyways, I added the 'so what' because Mila is a nickname no one calls me and it's weird to use it but SO WHAT? I LIKE IT!
Cams Talks was nice, not good or amazing, just nice. I liked it because I was talking about anything in my blog and Cams is a nickname my friends call me so, I accepted it for a couple months until I figured out MILA SO WHAT is what I'm. Silly story, blame on me!

What's new?
As you may know, I'm such a terrible blogger and I admit that! I'm finishing my forth year at high school (in Argentina we have five years of secondary!) and I'll have more free time for blogging so I'm taking the chances!!
As new we have the theme, the pictures may be and probably the way I used to write my post, I'll change it. Also the topics and if I can, I want to start Youtube but I need to get a lot more involved with everything!

I'm going to keep my old URL (camstalks.blogspot.com) because I can't change it in Bloglovin' and it'll be a mess for my readers to find me, I just changed the title. I'll try to post twice at week as least and I'll start to read blogs again (I became so lazy with all of this, ugh)
It's incredible to be back and with new vibes! Hope I can reach more readers and get involved with all of you, it's a lovely world I want to take part in <3

Good bye and see you soon!

OOTD: Luke Hemmings Style

I know I lied when I wrote the last post saying I was going to be posting more often. I'm such a bad blogger! BUT today I'm coming with a Sunday OOTD stolen from one of my favourites member of one of my favourites bands... Luke Hemmings from 5 Seconds Of Summer!

I've decided to recreate the look but all the clothes I'm wearing are from local stores so I chose carefully clothes from different stores around the world (Forever 21, ASOS, H&M, etc.) and put them on a picture so you can recreate it for yourself if you're interesting!

Last but not least, makeup. I followed this super easy and quick makeup tutorial I found in We Heart It.

I hope you like this idea, comment if you did and I'll probably try to recreate Michael's, Ashton's and Calum's looks too!

Goodbye and see you soon!

The Feeling of Being Argentinian

This blog is not related with football and I'm not an expert when talking about it but I do suffered the fever of the World Cup as much as the others countries around the world. As you may or may not know, today was the end of the matches and I can proudly say that my country, Argentina, got the second place while playing against Germany. So I want to dedicate this blog post as a gratitude one.

A few months ago when people asked me if Argentina would have a chance to win the World Cup Brazil 2014, I firmly answered no but when it all started, my heart and soul went with my country and the hope was way too high that I almost could felt the cup in our hands.
At the firsts matches, I didn't have a clue about the game as I don't like football at all but with my dad by my side explaining me and so many matches watched I was able to sit in front of the TV and shout to it when they were doing the things wrong. We played badly at first but we improved a lot and the last match we've played, was amazingly beautiful played, I was pleased with my boys.

If you now ask me how do I feel, I'll answer with a simple sentence: I feel very proud. They did their best and played with their hearts,  we didn't have a lot of support from other countries, Brazil hates on us (and, as we like the "war", we hate on them too) and most of the South American countries supported Germany on the Final but the guys did their best and we're SO proud of them. And we also had David Beckham and his sons supporting us :D

At the end of the match, when Germany was announced the winner of the World Cup Brazil 2014, Mascherano said that he (and the rest of the team) wanted to bring the cup to our country to make us happy, that it was so painful because they gave everything they had and that they felt sorry themselves and for us, the population but if I had him and all the team right in front of me I would tell them that it was enough, more than I could ever ask for.

I believe it's over understood that I'm very proud of my country and all of their effort, they've brought us happiness and I now it's only a game but it makes us became more united and that is one of the million things I'm thankful for.

Thank you Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero, Gonzalo Higuaín, Angél Di María, Marcos Rojo, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Fernando Gago, Sergio Romero, Javier Mascherano, Ezequiel Garay, Federico Fernández, Pablo Zabaleta, Maximiliano Rodríguez, Rodrigo Palacio, Lucas Biglia, Hugo Campagnaro, Martín Demichelis, Franco Di Santo, Ricardo Álvarez, José Basata, Enzo Pérez, Augusto Fernández, Agustín Orion and Mariano Andújar. Guys, you were flawless!

What is it all about?

When I decided to start running a blog I chose to write about makeup and fashion, I was wishing to be like Zoella, Tanya Burr or Sprinkle Of Glitter, succeed and being recognized like them.
But things took another way and now I find myself sort of confused about what I want to do with this blog. Well, not actually, I do know what I want to do.

I like makeup and fashion but I can't figure out myself doing reviews on beauty things because I know how useless I'm when it comes to recommend people the perfect moisturizer, eyeliner, shop where to buy nice leggings, etc.
So, yesterday I ended a book I was reading (I'm thinking of doing a review of it soon, oops) and it took me a whole book of 200 and something pages to realize the sense of life. For me now, it's the simple things and now I plan to enjoy the simple things that my life has to offer me. Why I am telling you it? Because I want you to know what's going on in my life, what are my interests, where did I go last weekend, what I was wearing, what is my favourite makeup product, how my dog is doing and if I have flu.

It's bit stupid being here sitting in my bedroom, writing about something that probably no one cares about but I feel like having to do it. Since my first post, I was always caring on what were people going to think about what I'm writing, if they were going to like it or not, or if it was worth to tell. Now I don't care anymore, this is my blog and I'm going to blog about whatever I'm interesting in. If people enjoy it, then hello! We can be best friends if you want to; if people don't enjoy it, you can go find another blog where your interests are fulfill. Luckily, we all have the right of freedom.

So tell me now, do I count you in?

#TFIOS

This film is a real thing, everyone is in love with the story and I might assure that 99% of the people who went to see it, cried (the 1% is my friend, Santiago, whose eyes didn't even crystallize).

We spent a lovely afternoon at the Mall, eating at Subway, watching the film and having fun!

About the film... I loved it! (It was pretty obvious I was going to tell you so) It's the most horrible and sad film I've ever seen, I should say that I hate it instead of being so astonished but I can't. I cried, yes and I felt like crap at the end. To be honest, I walked out of the place with a numb grimace on my face, my friends asked what to do and all I ever said was 'going home, lay in bed and cry for the next six months' and I'm still in that mood!
I may admit that I'm feeling like a John Green fan now, he's an amazing writer, I loved the book and film. Now I started reading Looking For Alaska and it's quite good as far as I'm reading; probably it won't impact to me as The Fault in Our Stars did but it's going to hit me, I can feel it coming!

(While buying the tickets, I took borrowed this little book (on the right) with the first chapter and all the songs that take part of the soundtrack, how cool is it?)

What about you? Have you watched The Fault in Our Stars? Did you liked it?
Goodbye and see you soon!

Dad's 50th Birthday

Yesterday, Saturday the 12th, my dad was turning 50 years old and we threw a little and familiar party to celebrate it. It was so nice and warm because his brother came with his wife and sons (my aunt and cousins) also my mother's brother came with his wife, daughter and father-in-law. As my other aunt's birthday was on Friday, her mother, granny and brothers also came along to celebrate with us. I can say that I'm so lucky to have most of my family living in the same city which is nice because we often visit each other and spend our weekends all together in my grandmother's house.

I took some pictures that I wanted to share with you guys :) but first, here's the cake that my dad received.
('Feliz cumple' means 'Happy Birthday' and if you're wondering why it is in Spanish, check out my last post here)

It wasn't a big deal, something really simple as my dad is; anyways it was delicious and he really liked it!

Also we had brownies (made by me, of course), cupcakes and a kind of macaroons with milk jam, coconut and white&black chocolate.

And yes, we had an awesome night talking, eating and remembering old times as every family does when they meet. Well, hope you like this very familiar post that I wanted to share with you and I see you soon!

Welcome Lottie and Fizzy!

I told you I was going to be updating every single moment of my puppies but as you can see, I didn't yet. So, I decided to tell you everything about them!

So they're Fizzy (on the left) and Lottie (on the right, ignore my happy face at the back), yes, like Louis Tomlinson's siters - I'm not that obsessed, I swear! Hahaha my friends suggested the names ;)
They were born on Friday the 17th of January, obviously. They're just one week old now and the only thing they do is sleeping, eating, crying and sleeping again! I think it's not a bad life being a baby dog haha.
In my last post I said the last time Flopy got five babies and we expected five or six now and she did birth six babies! But sadly, four of them have passed away... Flopy is an old dog, she's about 16 years and it's probably why the babies couldn't keep alive. Or maybe is because she was nervous and she needed the help of a vet; there's nothing we could do to bring the four babies back to life now.
Anyways, she's happy with her girls and I'm happy too! Also my family, they say Fizzy and Lottie will be beautiful when they grow up!
I wish I had more stuff to tell you guys but it just passed a week since the dogs born and there's nothing interesting yet -Hope there's something then!
And yeah, I know I don't post since three weeks or something and it's so bad. I really want to improve as a blogger and I want people to read my blog! But if I don't do something, it won't happen nothing! I promise I'll try my best and post every single Monday :)

Hope you liked my post about my babies, don't forget to leave a comment below telling me if you like the names or the puppies, subscribre/follow my blog!

 Goodbye and see you soon!

Babies to come!

So, about a few months ago (I guess... 2?) my white and cosy doggy got pregnant. She’s been by my side since I was 7 and now I’m happy to say that she’s going to be mom for the second time!

But it’s not something my family is really glad about just because my little buddy (a.k.a Larry; note: I’m not Larry Shipper because of calling my dog Larry, okay?) got her pregnant for the second time and he’s so annoying so the babies could be like him.
Anyways, Flopy (my dog) is about to give birth in anytime and it makes me more excited about the idea of having more puppies in my house! Sadly, I’m not going to keep them because my house will turn into a doghouse and my parents will probably kill me. We’re waiting about five babies as the last time and I’m already thinking of the names for them! They’re staying in my house with their mommy for two months and then they’ll go and live with their adoptive family; I don’t want to let them go!
I’m so excited to update every single detail of Flopy and her babies but I have to wait a little more, but don’t doubt that I’m going to write a post every second when they’re all born! Haha.
If you, the one who’s reading, have any ideas for puppies’ names; leave them in a comment below! It’ll help me so much!
Goodbye and see you soon!
