Simple Christmas Makeup Look

Hiiiiiiii everybody! We're in December, it's almost Christmas (16 days left) who's excited?!? I decided to do a simple makeup tutorial for Christmas' dinner or a family party you may throw! Hope you like it :)

First of all, foundation. I wore the Maybelline PURE MAKEUP foundation in the colour 30 natural. I like to apply it using my fingers as it helps to blend better and you won't feel your face heavy or cakey. For concealer I wore the Mary Kay concealer in the colour beige. Also applied with fingers!

Starting with the eyes, I applied a champagne eyeshadow all over my eyelid as a base. This one is from Lucy Anderson, I guess. I like the pigments it has and how it looks on my skin, sadly the light was terrible when I took the photo so it looks like I have nothing on the eyelid but I do!

Then in the outter corner I went with a browny-old pink shadow I have (I'm sorry I don't know where is it from), I blended it until I got soft smokey effect. For the inner corner I went with a white shadow.

With the help of a black pencil liner I drew a thin line over my lash line to give the feeling of more lashes. I decided not to do a strong line with the wing because I wanted to do this makeup simple but beautiful.

For mascara I wore Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Mascara on the top and low lashes. If you want it, you can apply false lashes!

Last we apply bronzer, we powder our faces to set the makeup and appy red lipsticks to finish with our Christmas makeup look! I hope you liked it, please leave a comment below if you did!

Goodbye and see you soon!

Smells Like Summer: Getting Ready

Most of you may be shivering and waiting for a snowy Christmas these days but this is not my case! Living at the end of the world might or might not be an advantage; I love spending my sunny, hot, relaxing  January by the pool, hanging out with friends, reading books or doing any other activity. And it would be absolutely weird if it snows in December!!

I decided not to buy a lot of clothes and shoes this year, just what I really need. And, to be honest, I needed new high heels! I don't know about you but I like to go to the night clubs with my friends and dance all night long (it's a thing here, don't get me wrong, I'm not breaking any rule!!) and as the only colour of shoes I have is black, I decided to get a brown ones. These one are perfect.
The heel is made of wood and the strips that hold your foot is made of leather, I can assure you they're really comfortable! I bought them on a local store but you can get some similar ones here: LINK1 LINK2 LINK3 LINK4 LINK5

I also bought myself more makeup! I needed a new foundation and I went straight to the beauty shop with the idea of not buying a Maybelline's one but, guess what? I bought a Maybelline's foundation! It's the PURE MAKEUP in the colour 30 natural. I really like it as it's perfect for oily skin and its finish is amazing, it looks like your face is flawless!

Last but not least,I bought a makeup brush for blending because the one I got before got magically lost. This one is from Jessamy and I think this brand is only available in Argentina and others countries in South America.

That's all for the "mini-haul", whatever is your doubts, don't be afraid of ask in the comments below!
Goodbye and see you soon!

The Start of Something New: Be Welcomed to MILA SO WHAT

PH credits: my mom <3 thank you so much for supporting me in every decision I choose!

I know I should stop changing my theme (let's say) but I found the one I like and I changed almost everything, I feel more comfortable with my blog now!

Why MILA SO WHAT?
If you're following my Instagram account you may notice that the username is @milasowhat, well that's because one of my friends decided to call me Mila as the last four letters of my name (Camila) matched as a name; she also did the same with her name (Luisina) and that's why I like to call her Sina sometimes. Anyways, I added the 'so what' because Mila is a nickname no one calls me and it's weird to use it but SO WHAT? I LIKE IT!
Cams Talks was nice, not good or amazing, just nice. I liked it because I was talking about anything in my blog and Cams is a nickname my friends call me so, I accepted it for a couple months until I figured out MILA SO WHAT is what I'm. Silly story, blame on me!

What's new?
As you may know, I'm such a terrible blogger and I admit that! I'm finishing my forth year at high school (in Argentina we have five years of secondary!) and I'll have more free time for blogging so I'm taking the chances!!
As new we have the theme, the pictures may be and probably the way I used to write my post, I'll change it. Also the topics and if I can, I want to start Youtube but I need to get a lot more involved with everything!

I'm going to keep my old URL (camstalks.blogspot.com) because I can't change it in Bloglovin' and it'll be a mess for my readers to find me, I just changed the title. I'll try to post twice at week as least and I'll start to read blogs again (I became so lazy with all of this, ugh)
It's incredible to be back and with new vibes! Hope I can reach more readers and get involved with all of you, it's a lovely world I want to take part in <3

Good bye and see you soon!

OOTD: Luke Hemmings Style

I know I lied when I wrote the last post saying I was going to be posting more often. I'm such a bad blogger! BUT today I'm coming with a Sunday OOTD stolen from one of my favourites member of one of my favourites bands... Luke Hemmings from 5 Seconds Of Summer!

I've decided to recreate the look but all the clothes I'm wearing are from local stores so I chose carefully clothes from different stores around the world (Forever 21, ASOS, H&M, etc.) and put them on a picture so you can recreate it for yourself if you're interesting!

Last but not least, makeup. I followed this super easy and quick makeup tutorial I found in We Heart It.

I hope you like this idea, comment if you did and I'll probably try to recreate Michael's, Ashton's and Calum's looks too!

Goodbye and see you soon!

Birthday Presents (July, 31st 2014)

I'm still alive! It's been like two months or so since the last time I've posted something here... mmh, shame on school! I've been busy, it's true. Practical works, loads of homework, tests, travels and I ran out of spare time but now I'm here with lot of ideas for blogging! (yay)
Well, I turned 17 on July 31st, I know it's almost a month, sorry! Anyways, it wasn't a big deal but I had a lovely time with friends. I should say I had a nice time with family but I'd be lying; my cousin was suffering pneumonia and we couldn't celebrate until she was fully recovered (guess what? She's recovered and we hadn't celebrate yet, I regret that!)
I didn't expect a lot of luxurious presents for my birthday, I just wanted it to be a common day but it wasn't, I mean, I WAS TURNING 17! ONE MORE YEAR AND I'M LEGAL!! (I'm not that excited, I swear) Anyways, I was excited to share with you what I got :)

The first thing I've received was an owl handbag from my aunt. She bought it on a local store but everybody in Argentina has one! It's made of a soft chamois and usually it's light brown and has a cute animal at the front (my cousin has a bigger one with a pug <3)

My mom gave me this lovely high-waisted short with little red lips embroidered (also bought on a local store) and the amazing book by Rainbow Rowell, 'Eleanor & Park' (which I'm currently reading and I'm in love with it! As soon as I finish it, I'm going to post a review here!)

Also, both of my parents gave me a new phone: the Samsung Galaxy Core in white. The last one I had was the Samsung Galaxy Ace (I bet it was the first Galaxy ever) and it broke down. However, now I have Instagram, so you can go follow me if you want to :) milasowhat

My friend Yami gave me a cute purple and green box where I'm going to save my earphones, earrings, bracelets, etc. and she also gave me a little and useful makeup bag. I love both of them!

Last but not least, my friend-bruther, Chino (Ariel actually) gave me this super cute yellow wool beanie with the Angry Birds on!! I really liked it, it was so sweet from him :)

Also, my other relatives gave me money and spent time with me, which is the most beautiful thing they can give me! I hope you enjoyed this post, it's not super interesting but it's something until I write a very important post! Hahaha

 Goodbye and see you soon!

The Feeling of Being Argentinian

This blog is not related with football and I'm not an expert when talking about it but I do suffered the fever of the World Cup as much as the others countries around the world. As you may or may not know, today was the end of the matches and I can proudly say that my country, Argentina, got the second place while playing against Germany. So I want to dedicate this blog post as a gratitude one.

A few months ago when people asked me if Argentina would have a chance to win the World Cup Brazil 2014, I firmly answered no but when it all started, my heart and soul went with my country and the hope was way too high that I almost could felt the cup in our hands.
At the firsts matches, I didn't have a clue about the game as I don't like football at all but with my dad by my side explaining me and so many matches watched I was able to sit in front of the TV and shout to it when they were doing the things wrong. We played badly at first but we improved a lot and the last match we've played, was amazingly beautiful played, I was pleased with my boys.

If you now ask me how do I feel, I'll answer with a simple sentence: I feel very proud. They did their best and played with their hearts,  we didn't have a lot of support from other countries, Brazil hates on us (and, as we like the "war", we hate on them too) and most of the South American countries supported Germany on the Final but the guys did their best and we're SO proud of them. And we also had David Beckham and his sons supporting us :D

At the end of the match, when Germany was announced the winner of the World Cup Brazil 2014, Mascherano said that he (and the rest of the team) wanted to bring the cup to our country to make us happy, that it was so painful because they gave everything they had and that they felt sorry themselves and for us, the population but if I had him and all the team right in front of me I would tell them that it was enough, more than I could ever ask for.

I believe it's over understood that I'm very proud of my country and all of their effort, they've brought us happiness and I now it's only a game but it makes us became more united and that is one of the million things I'm thankful for.

Thank you Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero, Gonzalo Higuaín, Angél Di María, Marcos Rojo, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Fernando Gago, Sergio Romero, Javier Mascherano, Ezequiel Garay, Federico Fernández, Pablo Zabaleta, Maximiliano Rodríguez, Rodrigo Palacio, Lucas Biglia, Hugo Campagnaro, Martín Demichelis, Franco Di Santo, Ricardo Álvarez, José Basata, Enzo Pérez, Augusto Fernández, Agustín Orion and Mariano Andújar. Guys, you were flawless!

Banana & Mango Smoothie

I know it's not a very difficult recipe but it's something new I've done and I've never drank (or eaten) mango before! So, I had the excuse of writing a post for my blog to go to the greengrocer, buy some fresh fruit and make smoothies with my friend!

What you need (for two people and some more):
- 1 mango
- Juice from one orange
- 2 bananas
- 1/4 Cup of water (or milk, whatever is better for you)
- Sugar as you want (it could be organic, I used common sugar)

(The girl on the right is my friend, Micaela; say hello Mics!!)

All you need to do is put all the ingredients in a blender and blend blend blend! Until you get a smooth and orangy juice. You can also pour ice into the 'cocktail' or when you're blending all the ingredients together. I poured the juice into two glasses and let them cool for about half an hour or so, when I took them of the freezer, they looked like a very weird kind of ice cream! But they were delicious anyways, I dare you to give it a try!!

Goodbye and see you soon!

Veronika Decides to Die | Book Review

What if you seriously want to die and you decide to commit suicide? What if you don't die at the first try? And, if you think you're passing away but when you wake up, you're not in Heaven or Hell but in the most recognized madhouse of the small town of Ljubljana? What about if you realize your life matters when you have your days counted and you think you can't do nothing to live?
Veronika Decides to Die is a book written by Paulo Coelho where he makes you stop for a second and makes think over if you're enjoying your life or if you're living with a autopilot. At the back of the book, Paulo give us a little summary of what the book is about and quoting it, it says: "Veronika Decides to Die proposes that in every single second of our existence we have the option of choosing to keep on going or give it up"

The first time I read the book (50 pages as maximum) I was 13 or 14, I can't remember clearly. I liked it because I felt like a grown up, reading a book with difficult words, metaphors I couldn't even understand and written by a well-known writer that my mom loves. I gave it up because it was too difficult and I wasn't interested at all. 4 or 3 years later, with 16 years old (turning 17 soon, just saying!) I decided to read it again and discover if Veronika dies at the end or not. But I found myself wondering what's the sense of life and it surprised me when reading I felt identified with the characters (no, I have not tried to commit suicide, I mean the way they think and see life). I'm so obsessed with it now because it helped me realize that life is about the little things, like reading a nice book, writing a emotional song, learn to play an old instrument, help others, etc. And I know I'm just 16 now but I'm not 100% of the time thinking of boys, parties and makeup, I like to think about life, my future, others and this book helped me to realize that I'm maturing finally and I feel fine with myself now.

It's not a miracle walker, it's just a book that made me think and realize things. It's nice, I love it and we all have different points of view so it's obvious that I learnt to have others perspectives and, if you read it, you're probably going to have differents points of view comparison with mines or Paulo's.
But I do recommend it, Paulo is a person that makes you think and wonder without asking you questions, just with words and stories. It's lovely!

I enjoyed writing this post and now I'm reading Looking For Alaska by John Green so, when I finish it, I'll do a review on it too! Read books kids, it's nice and the humanity needs more educated people! ;)

Goodbye and see you soon!

What is it all about?

When I decided to start running a blog I chose to write about makeup and fashion, I was wishing to be like Zoella, Tanya Burr or Sprinkle Of Glitter, succeed and being recognized like them.
But things took another way and now I find myself sort of confused about what I want to do with this blog. Well, not actually, I do know what I want to do.

I like makeup and fashion but I can't figure out myself doing reviews on beauty things because I know how useless I'm when it comes to recommend people the perfect moisturizer, eyeliner, shop where to buy nice leggings, etc.
So, yesterday I ended a book I was reading (I'm thinking of doing a review of it soon, oops) and it took me a whole book of 200 and something pages to realize the sense of life. For me now, it's the simple things and now I plan to enjoy the simple things that my life has to offer me. Why I am telling you it? Because I want you to know what's going on in my life, what are my interests, where did I go last weekend, what I was wearing, what is my favourite makeup product, how my dog is doing and if I have flu.

It's bit stupid being here sitting in my bedroom, writing about something that probably no one cares about but I feel like having to do it. Since my first post, I was always caring on what were people going to think about what I'm writing, if they were going to like it or not, or if it was worth to tell. Now I don't care anymore, this is my blog and I'm going to blog about whatever I'm interesting in. If people enjoy it, then hello! We can be best friends if you want to; if people don't enjoy it, you can go find another blog where your interests are fulfill. Luckily, we all have the right of freedom.

So tell me now, do I count you in?

#TFIOS

This film is a real thing, everyone is in love with the story and I might assure that 99% of the people who went to see it, cried (the 1% is my friend, Santiago, whose eyes didn't even crystallize).

We spent a lovely afternoon at the Mall, eating at Subway, watching the film and having fun!

About the film... I loved it! (It was pretty obvious I was going to tell you so) It's the most horrible and sad film I've ever seen, I should say that I hate it instead of being so astonished but I can't. I cried, yes and I felt like crap at the end. To be honest, I walked out of the place with a numb grimace on my face, my friends asked what to do and all I ever said was 'going home, lay in bed and cry for the next six months' and I'm still in that mood!
I may admit that I'm feeling like a John Green fan now, he's an amazing writer, I loved the book and film. Now I started reading Looking For Alaska and it's quite good as far as I'm reading; probably it won't impact to me as The Fault in Our Stars did but it's going to hit me, I can feel it coming!

(While buying the tickets, I took borrowed this little book (on the right) with the first chapter and all the songs that take part of the soundtrack, how cool is it?)

What about you? Have you watched The Fault in Our Stars? Did you liked it?
Goodbye and see you soon!

Top 5 Favourites Lipsticks

As I'm far away from the hot days, warm beaches and floral dresses I've decided it's time to go out of my comfort zone and wear something different as I'm accustomed to. I mean, it's time to update my standard lipsticks and go ahead for something crazy and unusual.

It's nothing new to share, I've been having them for a very long time ago but for the last months, I've been wearing a pinky and bit shiny lipgloss gifted by my grandma and sometimes I applied a red crayon from Avon (which I love as it's not super strong, perfect for summer because it gives a pinky red to your lips) but that was all.
It's fall over here and, since I'm keen on the fashion and beauty world, I've notice that dark lipsticks are perfect for fall and winter and lipglosses and light lipsticks look good for summer (you've descovered America, huh?). So, I rushed into my makeup bag and digged inside it to finally found my darkest lipsticks, I put them over my lips and fell in love immediately. I kinda have some reviews for those, so here we go!

First of all, Silkey Make Up Color High Impact N°08 (from left to right, the red one) I've bought it last winter because I was pretty crazy about red lipsticks and I wanted to start a red lipsticks collection that I've never done. Anyways, I wore it all winter and I was completely happy with the colour it gives to my lips; at first, I was looking for a mate bright red and felt a little disappointed when I applied it and looked darker and more oily than I've expected but, at last, I ended up feeling comfortable with it.
I cannot let out the fact it has a lovely rose smell!

Revlon Super Frost Lustrous Lipstick in Cherry Crush 91, I should let you know that I'm a violet-lover and this lipstick is also one of my favourites! It's not a very dark colour but you can notice that you're wearing something violet on your lips. It looks good with a dark eye makeup or something quiet, like a cat eyeline or just a little wing in the outer corner. I may not say that it hydrates or makes your lips softer but I feel it doesn't dry them out and that's a point in favour.

Lucy Andersons in the colour Berry Extreme 94, this one is my nightmare. I love the colour, I really do; it's, again, a purple one probably a bit darker than the Revlon one but it's nice. The problem with this buddy is that I can't wear it without moisturize my lips with a balm before. It's rough and make my lips uncomfortable like they're tight enough that when I'm going to smile they'll break down. If you're wonder, why do I still wear it is just because the colour but it's not one I'm always having on my lips. Just wear them on some situations and my mood that day.

L'Oréal Color Riche Violet Saturne 214, again a lovely purple one. To be honest, this one was the first I've worn this fall. It's shiny and I like it, even though I'm not a sparkle obsessed! The colour is super nice, I don't know how to describe it clearly but depends of the ilumination it might look dark or bright, crazy right? I'll wear it when I hang out with friends and probably when I go to a party (calm down, party animal haha)

Last but not least, the L'Oréal Lipcolour Pencil (I'm sorry I don't know in which colour), another nightmare but a bit more loved than the other one. The colour is absolutely perfect, a orange-red complements perfectly a warm and cosy outfit. But the problem here is the same as the Lucy Anderson one has. It makes my lips tight if I don't moisturise them before. Furthermore, I prefer this one than the other, so it's not a big deal of decisions.

Well, that was huge! I've never done a long review like this one but I really hope you enjoy it, I sometime think that everything I write is odd and boring! Hahaha
So now tell me, what are your favourites lipsticks for this season? (I know most of you are enjoying the warm weather but I think you do have a favourite lipstick for spring-summer 2014) I love reading comments so let me know below :)

  Goodbye and see you soon!

May Favourites | 2014

Hello everybody!! Did y'all miss me? I'm such a terrible blogger as I can't organise my time to write posts and do my stuff. I'll try my best starting 1st of June, I promise!!
Well, May's going away and I've decided to weave him goodbye dedicating a blog post about my favourites! Hope you enjoy it and let's get started ;)

Can we just say 'hi' to my favourite denim jacket ever?! It's from UNIMOG (Argentinian brand, I think) and was a gift from my cousin last winter. I had never wore it before because I didn't like it but the other day I was rushing to my English class, took it and put it on. Since then, I fell in love! (Get a similar one here)

I know, you're going to say 'why a YOLO beanie?!' Almost everyone think YOLO is rubbish but I really like it! I mean, the phrase is good and motivational. 'You only live once' it's true, you have to live life happily, fully and enjoy it! Why not remember it with a beanie?! Furthermore, it gives me a touch of colour because I'm a black and white person haha. (Get a similar one here)

Those are my favourites boots I've ever had! I wore them like once but they're so comfy and beautiful. I fancy wear them with a long sleeve dress I have from last winter and I'll share the outfit with you guys :) (Get a similar par of shoes here)

I didn't wear too much makeup through this month but I can say that essence brown eyeshadow is my favourite by far! It was a gift from a german friend I have and it's so good! I like the pigments it have and the way it perfectly fits to your eyes. You defenitely should give it a try! (You can get yours here)

And this is my favourite thing of the YEAR! It's random, I know but I love Demi sooo much and I really wanted her book. It makes me so happy to read it every morning, is amazing how a piece of paper makes my day or gives me the strenght I needed.

As I said before, I'll try my best and post more regularly. The excuse I have now is that I had so many essays to write and test to pass but I'm free now so I can blog and blog and blog! Hahaha

So, do you have any favourites this month? Do you like any of my stuff from above?

Goodbye and see you soon!

INSPIRED MAKEUP: Demi Lovato

Hi guys! How are you? It's been a while since my last post but, trust me, I've been very busy with all this school stuff! Most of you probably are super excited because you're about to finish school, summer is next month, proms and more but it's autumn over here and I just want to escape!! :(

Anyways, I've been waiting to do a Demi Lovato tutorial as I love this girl so much and I've seen a makeup look of her that made me fall in love even more and I wanted to recreate it. But, when I was doing the makeup, I realized it's not the exactly same as her so I turn it into a inspired makeup look.

With no more to say, here we go with the tutorial!

(Excuse my pimples and bags under my eyes, please)

When your foundation and concealer are done, I recomend to contour under the apple of your cheeks with a very smooth bronzer, nothing strong and dark because we need the eyes to catch the attention. Apply blush on the apple of your cheeks and blend it. I recomend a peachy colour or a very light pink.

1. I applied a pinky-purple eyeshadow all over my lid, it's a bit glittery but looks so good and girly.
2&3. Then, I applied a black eyeshadow in the outer corner of my eye, blending it all through the crease to the inner corner; it looks like I've contoured the pink shadow. Trying to make an ombré effect under my lower waterline, I applied the same black eyeshadow in the outer corner and the pinky one near the inner corner.
4&5. Almost finishing (and you probably can't see it), I draw a very thin line over my lashes with my liquid eyeliner to make a darker effect to the top waterline so it could be more defined. I applied mascara to my top lashes and completely forgot to apply it to the lower ones, so you can add mascara if you want to! (Also you can underline your lower waterline as I didn't underline it neither)

For the lips, I recommend a nude colour or a light pink one; one of these two will fit perfectly to the look. I wore a pink shiny one, I'd like to wear a nude one but sadly, I don't own one yet; anyways, I end up loving how the final look looks!

And voilà!

I really really hope you liked it, I enjoyed doing it and I wonder if you'd like to see more of this posts or if you'd like me to do any other thing. Please, let me know in the comments below :)
Goodbye and see you soon!

Spring Nail Art

Hello everybody! Today I'll show you a very spring nail art. So, yesterday I was bored in my house watching Teen Wolf and listening to music when I saw how boring my nails were. And I wondered, why not to do something colourful?

My first attempt of 'colourful and spring' nails incluided a red&white ying and yang nail, the same ying and yang but with a pinky nail polish. Also I draw some 'vintage' flowers (which were and are my favourites) and a completly green pastel one.

My second (and current on my nails) attempt were just vintage flowers with pinky, red and orange colours. So lovely!

I personally think that the second one are the best for spring season...
what do you think? What are your favourites? Would you like me to post the tutorial of any of them? Comment down below!

Goodbye and see you soon!

Dad's 50th Birthday

Yesterday, Saturday the 12th, my dad was turning 50 years old and we threw a little and familiar party to celebrate it. It was so nice and warm because his brother came with his wife and sons (my aunt and cousins) also my mother's brother came with his wife, daughter and father-in-law. As my other aunt's birthday was on Friday, her mother, granny and brothers also came along to celebrate with us. I can say that I'm so lucky to have most of my family living in the same city which is nice because we often visit each other and spend our weekends all together in my grandmother's house.

I took some pictures that I wanted to share with you guys :) but first, here's the cake that my dad received.
('Feliz cumple' means 'Happy Birthday' and if you're wondering why it is in Spanish, check out my last post here)

It wasn't a big deal, something really simple as my dad is; anyways it was delicious and he really liked it!

Also we had brownies (made by me, of course), cupcakes and a kind of macaroons with milk jam, coconut and white&black chocolate.

And yes, we had an awesome night talking, eating and remembering old times as every family does when they meet. Well, hope you like this very familiar post that I wanted to share with you and I see you soon!

THURSDAY THOUGHTS | Who I really am?

Hello there! How are you? It's Thursday finally, just one day left and the weekend is here with us! As today is Thursday and a couple of weeks ago I shared with you my first post of a personal series (let's call them series even though I don't know if they're series actually! Haha) where I talk to you about differents points of view of something. (If you're interested in the previous post, click here) Today I want to talk about myself, to give you an idea of who I really am.
You may know that my name is Camila if you read my little bio (on the right, under the picture of myself) and you also know that I prefer being called 'Cams'. That's fine because it's true. If you've been reading my blog since the beginning or for a while now, you may notice that I've never told where I'm from and why. Well, this is the point that I wanted to reach. I'm from South America and I live in the land of 'the end of the world'; Argentina, in other words.
If you're wondering, why I decided to run a blog in English instead of Spanish it's simple: I rather talk in English all day instead of Spanish, I find my language sooo boring. Also, I've been learning English since I was 8 years old and this was the perfect challenge for me to test what I've learnt. And, last, because I started a Spanish blog and it didn't work; it seems that 'my people' don't read blogs and this kind of stuff. Who on Earth don't read a blog!? Them.
If you're wondering, why I've decided to tell you this is because my blog is going on well and you'll notice that I don't talk about MAC products or shops about Forever 21, Topshop, Lush, etc. but, sadly here in Argentina we don't have those shops (it's a completly shame, I want to cry). The only one here is MAC but it's very far away from my city and it's a craziness the idea of go to another province (or state) just to buy makeup.
And, if you're wondering, why I've never told this before is because sometimes I feel ashamed of where I'm from. Argentina is not the perfect country to live, I don't really like it but I try, because of my family. And not all the people around the world love argentinians, I think I was afraid of being rejected if I said it at first.
But now I did, you know it about me and I'm feeling better now because it was stuck in my throat. Now it's going to be different!
Hope you enjoy it and accept me as the real me now! I really enojoy writting and reading blogs and I don't want to stop doing it :)

Goodbye and see you soon!

Tie Cakes | Recipe

Happy Thursday! C'mon, show me a smile, one day left until weekend! And, as I want to sugar-coat-you, I'm posting today a homemade recipe that my granny always cook... tie cakes! I don't actually know the original name of these but my grandma always says that they look like little ties, that's why I call them 'tie cakes'. Anyways, here's the recipe and the process...

You'll need:
1/2 kg of rising flour
1/4 kg of butter
1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs

Cooking time!

On a bowl, put  all the butter, the cup of sugar, both eggs and the vainilla extract. I've mixed all the ingredients with a fork, it's quite difficult at first but becomes easier then. Once you have a smooth and homogeneous mixture, you need to pour the milk and blend again. Then, add the flour slowly until you can knead it with your hands.

Now you have a big and sticky thing, you'll need more flour to be adding to the dough so you can knead it until it's less sticky. Once it doesn't stick on your hands, leave it in the bowl with cling film on the top; the dough will need to rest for about 15 minutes.

One of the last steps to do is, cut the dough in a smaller ball. Then you'll need to stretch it with flour and a rolling pin. Cut little -or big- squares and a little hole in the center of it with a knife so you can take a tip and pass it by the center so it looks like a 'tie'.
On a saucepan, put some oil, I used sunflower oil -just in case you want to know- When it's boiling and you can see bubbles on the top, throw one of your tie cakes inside, being careful obviously. If it fries swiftly, the oil is ready but if it takes its minutes, leave it a little more to get hotter. When your ties look goldy and nice, take them away and put them on a absorbent paper.

Once all of them are ready, you can add some common or icing sugar, or any other toppings you want to. I ate them with common sugar -because I hadn't icing- and some milk jam, delicious!

I hope you liked the recipe and you understood every single step, leave me in the comments below what do you think and if you try it, make sure to tell me how good they were!
Sorry for not being posting for a long time ago but my computer broke and I was very busy with school stuff; I promise I'll post more often! Haha

Goodbye and see you soon!
